Population to Support a Pool
Town of Cary has grown leaps and bounds over the past 3 decades. A reasonable question might be, does Cary have the population to support a public pool? Here are some population stats from other Triangle cities followed by public pools in these cities.
Given the populations of Raleigh and Durham, it’s not surprising they have multiple city pools. What’s interesting is Chapel Hill and Morrisville, which have substantially lower populations than Cary, also provide pools for their communities. In fact, they do so at a much higher resident per pool ratio when compared to Raleigh or Durham.
